One as one of the best bike paths in Minocqua, WI is the Bearskin Trail. What once was an 18 mile railroad, is now a state park in the Northern woods.

The northern half of this park is bombarded by endless bike paths, lake views, hardwoods, and more beautiful scenery!
This park is mostly known for its history. The railroad was used to export goods throughout the midwest back in the day. When biking along the path you will be able to see some of the old parts of the railroad that are still intact!

There are four different major trails in the Northwoods area, one of them being Wisconsin, that you will be able to mountain bike along. This is a great place to try out a newer method of biking.
In the winter season, they also allow people to snowshoe and cross country ski along their beautiful trails.

This bike trail offers a 2.3-7 mile loop for all beginning bikers. If you are just beginning to enjoy the sport of biking, Shannon Lake is a great place to practice.

In the southern part of the loop, you will most likely see lots of wildlife, forest life, and let’s not forget to mention how beautiful it looks with the season change.
This trail is not too long, and not too short. If you want a faster bike ride, while also enjoying all of the aspects listed above, then check out Shannon Lake.
Location: From the intersection of Hwy 155 and Lost Lake Road just north of St. Germain, continue north on Lost Lake Drive to Found Lake Road and turn east.

Located in St. Germain, Awassa Trail Includes 230 acres of scenic woodlands and several miles of trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing & skiing.
Awassa Tail always has a lot to offer when it comes to bringing the community together. Every year they host several different sporting events that are appropriate for each season.

Woodruff, WI is a town near Minocqua. They have a great number of outdoor activities to partake in. One of the most popular is the trails!
With three primary loops ranging from 1.5 to 5 miles, there are a lot of trails to cover. This bike trail will make you challenge yourself.

We do suggest that more experienced bikers take this trailhead on. The trail does get fairly steep at some points, and different parts of nature will become obstacles on this trail.
