Tip: Give your pizza a few seconds to cool as I have burned myself on more than one occasion when waiting to dig into their pizza was too challenging.

Preuss’s Pub is a Northwoods staple. They are one of the best places to stop for a drink while on the winter snowmobile trails.
Preuss’s is known all year round for “to die for” crispy pizza. They are also known for their monster half-pound cheeseburgers.
The inside is tiny and a classing Northwoods dive, but the food they deliver is top-notch.

The MPC, as it’s called by the locals, has been around for over 25 years and is known for its thin-crust pizza.

The inside is nothing fancy, but it’s clean and comfortable. This is a great place to go with friends or family.

Tasty Take & Bake is a great option if you want a quick and easy pizza.
You can call ahead and pick up your pizza or stop in, and they will have it ready for you in no time.

They are also known for their unique upper Wisconsin pasties. Deliciously warm bread pockets overflowing with meat, cheese, and homemade sauce.

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy some pizza, Oakfire is not the place for you. It is always packed and loud. The wait time for a table can be over an hour on busy nights.
The pizza is flimsy and tasteless while trying to be “fancy” and upscale.
We believe Oakfire Pizzeria is a significant miss and not what we look for in a pizza when in Minocqua.
The owners of the Oakfire are also known for harassing local residents and have been involved in “dirty” political dealings in town as of late.
The Oakfire gets a 1-star from us, and you can absolutely skip stopping at this stuffy “dump” in downtown Minocqua.
